From it’s inception in 1997, Bharatiya Institute of Research & Development (BIRD) has now grown into a fully integrated Research, Training & Consultancy Organization. The guiding philosophy of the BIRD, throughout, is  creation of knowledge base Institutions, influence research & training practices and integrate globally. The objectives of imparting education & training, combined with creation, dissemination and application of knowledge, are being met in an integrated form, to create a synergetic impact.

The Institute fosters and nurtures leaders/managers of social sectors’s programme and rural development programmes capable of making difference in the implementation as well as socio-economic impacts. It inculcates human values and professional ethics in the Programme Manages, which help them make decisions and create path that are good not only for them, but also are good for the society, for the nation, and for the world as whole. To full fill its mission in new and powerful ways, each member of BIRD strives to achieve excellence in every endeavour – be it education, research, consulting or training – by making continuous improvements in curricula and pedagogical tools.

This truly an Indian Research, Training & Consultancy Organization, that conducts Concurrent Monitoring, Monitoring & Evaluation, Impact Assessment & Baseline Survey, Capacity Development & Training, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Development, Bench Marking of Services, Market Research, Project Management, Knowledge Management & Documentation of Best Practises, Consultancy in the Field of IT, Management, Rural Development and Organization Development, stands tall on the foundation of an excellent, committed and deeply knowledgeable HRs, innovative and unique pedagogical tools and an eclectic and diverse learner community that has a burning desire to make new paths of its own.

Research is undertaken for strengthening the knowledge base, relevant to management practices for the corporate as well as non-corporate sector. Consultancy services are provided to various kinds of organizations, spread across different sectors of the economy for solving their problems and upgrading their management practices. In keeping with the mission of the Institute, Executive Development Programmes are conducted to help improve management systems by providing relevant training to senior executives in industry, government and the non-government sectors.

From the day of its inception, BIRD nurtured a dream to become a leading Research, Training & Consultancy Institute in the field of IT, Management & Rural Development with a global vision. Today the dream has become a reality as BIRD Researchers, Academicians and Consultants alike have gained due recognition worldwide for their academic and professional excellence.

Enhancing the skill sets of the workforce in the country is a challenge. Only 5 per cent of the workforce in India has some kind of certification, this is in contrast to over 85 percent in the developed countries. Encouragement of work integrated offers an opportunity to those already in employment to upgrade their knowledge base, so that they can more effectively contribute to the productivity of work in their organizations. Studying, while in employment, also offers opportunities for enhancement of career opportunities. To serve the Young India, BIRD has inked MOU with UPSDM as a Large Training Partner for Skill Development Training in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

We at BIRD Skill Development Centers, are dedicated to provide more opportunities for advanced learning for those who aspire for studies since upgrading the quality of workforce in the society requires access to higher education and capacity building.
